The Gilmont instructors are passionate about teaching students in nature and are eager to work with the classroom teacher to deliver a meaningful experience that extends back to the classroom.  Our teaching staff is comprised of certified teachers, retired certified teachers and program staff certified in Ropes and Team Building. Classroom teachers are part of the conversation and are welcome to provide their input during the delivery of the outdoor school experience.

"It is empowering for students to realize how much they already know - it's like a light bulb turning on when they are able to apply their knowledge to the REAL world around them."
- an outdoor school teacher
